Empty boxes littering space

unfinished endings, tattered lace

confined to closed passages, a vacuum

do we succeed or succumb

unanswered are the questions wrought

of frustration present, individual thought

like a hungry piranha I am forever starving

plough the fields, reaping, harvesting

An ill-conceived diet of pain

burns my innards, rots my brain

allusions shimmer in my halls

towering infernos blaze, fall

questing for satisfaction finding none

I seek but am forever holding the gun

firing blank bullets which bounce off my skull

existing in this barren, vacant hull

Selling my soul for complacent routines

until I am under the hood of the guillotine

my head severed and laying in the basket

but still my body revolts tarred and blackened

I vanquish my existence by trying not to be

yet I am conforming still as my veins bleed

preserve your soul, take care your needs

I cannot comprehend this, plant the seeds

I am afraid to hurt or sacrifice

another one who is so gifted, blasphemous price

read my face the lines will deepen yet

from the task of being meek, my safety net

I look in the mirror but see no image

I don’t even know what is my lineage

even as I try not to hurt the ones that care

it comes back on me and my blame is there

Parents, friends, lovers and kin

no not where I came from where I begin

no anchors weigh me, no lines affix

lost in the void, I have no address

I am so tired of trying to find happiness

so the lines deepen and crack, grappling sickness

taking hold of this illness I slip out of reality

my words may sting but your words I will not see

Too many hurts are piling in a heap upon my carcass

as the flies hover urgent, to fill my sarcophagus

if you can see the image I am blinded to

show me how to find its path true

if you can sense a compassionate soul

birth it from within, mare breeding foal

clean it and take it in your hands

do not let it slip through like the sand

If you could light the path I would

rip off my veil, slash through my hood

I have tried before only to sink back into

a cauldron of stewed emotions, drink I few

selfish, yes, stubborn horned oxen

until the pain is gone slowly forgotten

refresh my blackness, paint my life

smother the fire within, reclaim my voice.

Utterances escape to regions of obscured eternity

while gusts of fancy convey aloft sterile interpretations

useless ramifications ceaselessly insulate our fraternity

generating beliefs frequently battered by insinuation

Generosity of the heart is commonly misjudged as selfishness

benevolence is mocked as an ineffective characteristic

yet domination and ruthlessness are placed on a pinnacle

which revolves on a warped and corrupt spinning wheel

Freedom of choice is a mainstay that sways beneath

bigotry and bias tolerated unerringly by society

grown plump and sluggish by manipulation, a slothful beast

while races deteriorate and dwindle, where is our priority?

Uniformness and unity are paramount for sustainment

suppression of normality is unjustifiable payment

to live without restraint is a beggars vision

unequal to all freedoms lain open, perceive the mission

Lay claim to the pulsing cadence of existing without discrimination

embrace the glittering embers of existence without apprehension

ascend the immense, towering inferno and crush without discretion

annihilate ailments of illness and set upon your heart a blessing

Quiet and muffled sounds disperse

Dead-calm the seeds are planted

Giving room to adhere

Grow strong and patient “my love”

Be deaf to the insipid liar

Be blind to the vulgar pornographer

Be brave when confronting your image

God? Yes, there may be

Truth? Yes, there should be

Innocence?

Light your destingy with your soul

Embrace your wisdom honestly

Decline to forfeit your duties

Give freely of your harmony

Absolve your demons, “my love”

Quietly the seeds begin to nourish

Unobtrusively the roots begin to form

Silhouettes of ideas become humanity

God? Yes, I believe

Sanctity? Yes, through purity

Uniqueness?

Two birds fly through my mirror

Passing their message of freedom

Nesting in my bed they sleep

Floral patters begin to eddy

Love addresses my misgivings

Devotion calms my terror

Trust wraps around and soothes

Tenderness replaces avoidance

Love, Yes, I do

Birth, Yes love becomes

SECRET FANTASY

Slogging away day by day

I haven’t enough words to say

Moments flit by on silken wings

Alarms blare, honk, squeak and ring

Blasé is the noon rush hour

I miss nature’s mighty power

Bring me sweet scents not poison

Of the workaholic chosen

Hand me a flora perfume kiss

Tipping on the side of bliss

Bless my sanity, curse loyalty

Towards civilized orthodoxy

I run towards my life in delusion

Photos of past lives dying illusion

Graveyards answering my call

Gaping eternity into which I fall

Freedom howls within the night

Ghoulish sunshine damns my sight

Unfettered the wind chases my fears

Blowing sands blinds me with tears

Brandishing the keys of self denial

I unlock the doors to the final mile

Kaleidoscope colors on rainbow mist

Nature crushes my life with its fist

Renewal replenishing rapidly relaxing

Breathing  freely, tensions fracturing

Taking my road trip to my final self

Bountiful flora refreshes my wealth

LIFEFIRE

Come to me in the deep of night

take my hand trembling kisses

tickle my lips with feathers

bathe my body in still waters

burn your mark on my thighs

scalding heat baptize my soul

trail a path of kisses, soft

heat my brain, mute my tongue

give me water, drown my lungs

fire spreading, fire building

constraints of steel, bite

tattoo a dragon on my breast

rings of steel pierce my flesh

stones of glory flail my spirit

risng serpent slithering, coiling

striking my belly, venomous biting

blood welts adorn my cheeks stained

thick ropes shackle my exposed bone

flesh sagging on the scarecrow

fire clearing, fire destroying

barking dos nip at my heels

whips lashing the demon beast

whimpered cries tear the blanket

shrouded in the coffin, darkness

smothering in your grasp I breath

mingling scents of lust freed

restrained to shackles cleavng

spread eagled I lay a token sacrifice

your smoldering eyes emit lava

fire consuming, fire freeing

washed in blood and life force

penetrate my fears, dissolve my pain

eat from my table feast from my plate

purify my inner core, suck me dry

wipe the filth from my encrusted eyes

kiss my heart fulfill my needs

fondle my emotions and free my life

drive your dagger deep in my loins

skewer me with kind words, gentle touches

fire dwindling, fire resting

fire warming, fire nestling

When you came to me i was innocent at heart

no one had broken my walls of steel

my heart like a cable was jump-started

and the wall crumbled, dissolved and peeled

Your eyes so bright smiled on my countenance

your touch electric sent me reeling

your wit did overcome my haughtiness

You were most persuasive, cunningly sharp

with each turn of the clock a new feeling

I took your hand and felt your warmth

You trusted me when the wounds did open

and holding you close we stopped the bleeding

my passion for you is a strong magic potion

The joyous feelings tremble in my breast

I said to myself, “My heart you are stealing.”

my mind is at ease in a comfortable nest

REDEMPTION

Intimate strangers passing oblivious

warm my body, draining succubous

cold stares prickle, enter my flesh

stamp my forehead with your crest

of hatred, mistrust, fear of touch

lashing my wrists, you savagely strike

strenght ebbing from your fight

sanity loses it’s calm reason

you say I walk a path of treason

following your words you scald my skin

with boiling water, purifying your sin

spoken barbs enter my womb

petrified bodies collect in a tomb

hallowed sanctity is your excuse

to punish the sinners, justify your rouse

I am human no one can condemn

my life is simple I am redeemed

because you are blind to my purpose

red is my blood, are you virtuous?

To blame a stranger for your ignorance

heating your words with indifference

obliging laws seek to curtail

my life will sustain and prevail

become pure shows of glory

I am my own guide I will not worry

nor satisfy your unjust fear

I don’t care if you won’t hear

so carry on striving to dampen

you are still blind, invisible, ranting

Beloved flame licks with cold fire

encase my foundation

explicit night reveals my guile

excessive dreams eclipse into day

blushing thoughts, my companions

Heart, Head, Love, Lust

Lips so soft they soothe my pain

arms so sweet they subside my angst

eyes so intense they steal my thoughts

human desire wakes, demands answers

breathless I tremble, drown in luxury

wanting only to be tied to this dulcet misery

Sudden contact ignites and boils my heart

never have I felt such wanting, such an ache

to consume madly, completely, I am alive!

Reciprocation beats me down and stifles

deceit of the heart ultimately a choice

do I bathe in this sweet, sweet fragrance?

Society says, “No” integrity blames accusingly

“No regrets” I say, “No regrets” you say

How far do we go? How long can we abstain?

Continual thoughts doggedly follow my routine

you are in my head, my heart my body

you are consuming my essence, willingly I give

Tonight, tomorrow, ebony darkness will tolerate

flirtations spent and exposed to raw need

hold me close, kiss my lips, feel my desire

laugh with me, share my thoughts, become

I would throw caution away and gladly succumb

A song was born when two souls united

spiraling towards the heavens unguided

one was golden, sunshine gleaming

one was burnished mahogany beaming

mixing and joining the souls entwined

heartaches and sadness left behind

strife was present, forever calling

these auras did not bid its warning

from the day that match was lit

the world became a glorious gift

Uncertain strands mixed in the gold

because his life had turned so cold

far away on his journey he went

his light became faded, cold and bent

sent far away on travels she sailed

lost in the night stormy winds prevailed

two souls severed and lost their way

a tremulous price they both would pay

wisdom came with each new loss

emblazened on their hearts Jesus on the cross

Time did march on through endless nights

but both were lost, blurred visions in their sight

he came to her through the distant mist

once again sealing their bond with a kiss

a kiss of sunshine breaking the bonds

of suffrage cleared, love cleansed of fog

radiance poured from within his soul

healing wounded scars once again whole

lifting her up he gave her a vision

beauty shone through his eyes of wisdom

Entwined these souls reached for the spring

hands laced together they both did sing

a joyous harmony burst forth and hovered

twin souls reunited, lost love discovered

he is the sunshine within her rainbow

forever there will be no sorrow

a beautiful “David” sculpted with the knife

hands carved by Gods unerring sacrifice

beautiful “David” you are my lover

though only in the platonic term, “Brother”

Your essence fills my well overflowing

always changing, maturing, growing

glorious “Adonis” your grace my home

your love is burning through my bones

each day you give me a brand new voice

by being simply my friend, Lord I rejoice!

laughter abounds within your smile

twinkling stars shining from your eyes

such beauty I cannot comprehend to state

only that I need your love so great

Take from my heart this small token

as my bonds I promise will never be broken

I give to you a vow to forever cherish

for I will not withdraw it lest I perish

DISEASE OF THE SOUL

Striding stealthily on ancient appendages

receiving fragmented visions of hostility

it unwraps soiled, tarnished bandages

affixing a tentacle with exploitable agility

Values cherished and considered ethical

soon decay under an onslaught immeasurable

misconstruing optimist with leering lust

unyielding in their misguided trust

Anger, jealousy, betrayal, all judged

molding, cohesive, a viscous mass

emerging quite bloated it lunges

tearing and ripping in obnoxious blasts

World domination is its ultimate aspiration

unstoppable processions march in discordance

terminating creation by vaporous asphyxiation

gorging its glutton in utter abhorance

Disgorging its minions to spread the order

disease of the soul no longer sits on the border

devouring righteousness decreeing its dominion

ruination of souls its illicit, odious opinion
